Classic in Black - Classical Music and Intercultural Dialogue
About us
Classic in Black is an international collective focused on promoting classical music in the black diaspora and strengthening cultural exchange in Europe.
Our activities include:
- the organisation of concerts and events
- the creation and production of musical projects
- education and research
The aim is to highlight historically overshadowed stories and to create new cultural associations.
Mission
Our mission is to highlight the work of composers and musicians who have received little attention so far and to promote intercultural dialogue through concerts, media projects and collaborations.
We create high-quality and inspiring cultural experiences that connect people, broaden perceptions and contribute to the formation of a more diverse and conscious cultural space.
Vision
Our vision is to shape the world of classical music more open, diverse and inclusive, where different cultural backgrounds are visible, valued and a natural part of the musical heritage.
We want to be an internationally recognized platform that connects cultures, creates new opportunities for creators and enriches society through music and stories.
Our focus
Our activities focus on connecting cultures through music, creativity and collaboration. We believe that classical music is not just a history, but a living and evolving form of art that reflects different cultural backgrounds and stories.
